Annie & Matt
Annie and Matt Carman found me through an amazing client i’ve worked with in the past. For our first shoot together, I met them at a local coffee shop to discuss their wedding details, and then, after much discussion about their big day, we ventured out to the Wetlands of Mill Creek Park; the first location for their engagement session. The warm spring evening and the golden evening sunlight offered a great natural condition that was perfect to capture their natural love.
Throughout the day we enjoyed each other’s company and, in between snapshots, we each got to know a little more about each other. Whether it was tidbits about their own love story, or an anecdote about my little dog, every moment we spent together felt completely light and at ease. As a photographer, I always enjoy allowing couples to feel as comfortable as possible, and the best way I do that is by allowing myself and them to be as authentic as possible. For example, i am quirky, i make them laugh, and through that we can keep the conversations going all in a loving tone.
After the Wetlands, which I must say were extraordinary, we headed downtown to capture more of an urban vibe. I love how the Carmans incorporated their love for the Cleveland Browns into their next look; it offered a real glimpse of their personalities and showed a unique side of who they are and what they both share—a LOVE for the Dawg Pound.
These two lovebirds are getting married on September 28, 2019 in Cleveland, Ohio at Club 46—which so happens to be inside the Cleveland Browns Football Stadium! (I honestly don’t know who is more excited, me or this beautiful couple). Sending you two so much love. Cannot wait to capture your special day!
